Ramply ("Ramply," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile application and related web services (the "Service") that help door-to-door sales representatives log door interactions, record and transcribe sales conversations, and review AI-generated coaching. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who controls your data
The representative or organization using Ramply is generally the controller of the conversation content they capture; Ramply acts as a processor of that content on their behalf. Ramply is the controller of account and device data described below.
2. Information we collect
Account information — email, name, password (stored only as a salted hash), and subscription/entitlement status.
Location — with your permission, approximate and precise device location, used to center the map and mark the door/property you are at. You can disable this in iOS Settings; the map and "Record Here" features will be limited.
Audio recordings & transcripts — when you start a door interaction, the app records audio locally on your device and may generate a transcript. Recordings are stored on the device first and, when connectivity allows, may be uploaded to our cloud storage associated with your account.
Interaction metadata — timestamps, duration, outcome (e.g., sale, not home), notes, the product being sold, and the representative name you set.
Device & usage data — app version, device model, OS version, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
Cookies & similar technologies — our website uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. The mobile app uses local device storage (not advertising cookies). You can control cookies through your browser and, where required, our cookie banner.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Generate transcripts and AI coaching from recordings.
- Sync your data across devices and back it up.
- Authenticate you and manage your subscription.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Audio recording — your responsibility (read carefully)
Ramply is a tool. You are solely responsible for how you use it. Recording laws differ by jurisdiction. Some U.S. states and many countries require the consent of all parties to a conversation before it may be recorded.
By using recording features you represent and agree that:
- You will disclose to the other party that the conversation is being recorded and obtain any consent required by law before recording.
- You are responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable laws in the jurisdiction where you operate, including wiretapping, two-party/all-party consent, and privacy laws.
- You will not record where prohibited, and you will honor any request to stop recording.
Ramply does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for your failure to comply with applicable law. See the Terms of Service for the associated indemnification.
5. AI processing, tokens, and model usage
Transcription and coaching may be produced by AI models, which may run on-device and/or via third-party AI providers. When cloud AI is used:
- Recording audio and/or transcripts are transmitted to the AI provider solely to produce transcripts and coaching for your account.
- We instruct providers not to use your content to train their general models where such controls are available, and we use enterprise/no-retention configurations where offered.
- "Tokens" refers to the units of text AI models process; your usage may be metered for billing and abuse-prevention. We do not sell token-level content.
A list of subprocessors (including AI and cloud providers) is available on request and will be maintained at ramply.io.
6. How we store and secure recordings
- Recordings are captured and retained locally on your device first so interactions are not lost offline.
- When uploaded, recordings and transcripts are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Access is limited to your account and to personnel who need it to operate the Service.
- Retention: recordings and transcripts are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward, then deleted or de-identified, unless a longer period is required by law or you request earlier deletion.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers/subprocessors (cloud hosting, storage, AI, payments) under contract, to operate the Service.
- With the organization on whose behalf you use Ramply (e.g., your employer/team admin), if applicable.
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- In a business transfer (merger, acquisition, financing), subject to this Policy.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these, contact support@tbltap.com. You can also delete recordings in-app and revoke permissions in iOS Settings.
9. Age requirement
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and is intended for business/professional use. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the data.
10. International transfers
We may process and store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Payments
Subscriptions are sold and managed through our website using a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; the processor handles payment data under its own privacy terms.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted at ramply.io with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
